As I stated last week I’m REALLY having to get creative with my wardrobe lately.
The south still doesn’t know if it’s ready to be spring, or wants to hold on to winter. This is the perfect time to wear chunky yet porous sweaters. The cut outs on this grey cold shoulder sweater also allow for that extra bit of coolness both literally and figuratively.
I also like being able to wear my OTK boots a little longer. However, I’m eagerly counting down the days to lacey dresses and vibrant pumps!

In the South and other warm climate areas, we’re in the middle of what I like to call Fashion Purgatory. It’s neither crazy hot or super cold. Lots of dreary pre Spring mornings keeps us from reaching for those spring florals, while lukewarm afternoons repel sweaters.
As a result one of my favorite uniforms is a light moto jacket over versatile blacks and whites. What better way to spice up this semi monochromatic look than with an “it” accessory?
I was very fortunate to receive this Chloe Faye Handbag as a Christmas gift and couldn’t help but film its unboxing. The size and depth is unique and I’m still a bit fearful that filling it will cause bulk. I’m also not an uber careful girl when it comes to items. At the end of the day they’re things. But I really want to do right by this gift.
Be sure to check back to my YouTube channel for a “What’s in My Bag” video soon and a “Wear and Tear” review within 3 months!

A special thank you to Wall on Dragon Gallery and On the Rocks Cocktails
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of co-hosting a Sip & Shop with some other fabulous Dallas bloggers. You may recognize their faces from our Holiday Post and Slaying in the Streets. This time we had the rare chance to meet our readers face to face. New and old friends marveled at art, noshed on sweet bites and shopped the Goody2Shoes mobile boutique.
Don’t suffer from FOMO if you weren’t able to make it. There’s actually an amazing evening coming up. A whole string of art galleries in Dallas Design District will participate in the Art Walk this Saturday starting at 5pm. I got a sneak peek at the work of artist Scott Dykema who will grace Wall Gallery and was left breathless. The pieces celebrate ancient and modern royalty using the most gorgeous media. Pops of the richest golds, pinks and blues (to name a few) grace these canvases. The way female princesses and queens from all over are revered will leave you proud to call yourself woman. There are King and Chief pieces for the fellas too.
Come for date night, a girls outing or go stroll it alone like me!
I hope to see you all there!
