Ever scour a clothing website and think “I would love that shirt if only it came in a different color”? Well Qtee is here to fix this problem.
It feels meant to be when they approach me about customizing one of their pre-designed shirts. I scroll through items as cute as the boutique’s name before finding this little number. Two perfect numbers on one tank, to be exact. A grey background serves as the great backdrop for my favorite double digits in white! The comfortable cotton material and racer back cut easily takes this tank from gym to brunch!
I decide on a classic color combo for my customized tank, but you can go as vibrant as you want. Choose from hundreds of shirts, bags and even converse shoes!

Recent obsessions: Aloha hour at Roy’s and tropical prints from my recent Lilly for Target escapade! Tropical shirts in the past, always made me think of an older college professor who would wear them year round. He’d even rock flip flops on snowy days and joke all through lecture. I learned so many things from that guy but never thought his fashion sense would be one of them.
With more flattering silhouettes, you no longer need to be an eccentric middle aged man to rock this print! I’ve gathered quite a few as proof. Some are pretty some chic and others even edgy!
How do you feel about this look as a feminine and youthful trend? Would you wear it?

After years of shying away, I’ve finally come up with the formula for flattering patterned pants. These Topshop beauties will make it easy to follow all 5 rules!
1. Keep the background color neutral and one that looks great on you.
2. Avoid small prints and go for larger ones in vertical formations.
3. When it comes to pockets, stick with those that are flat fronted, hidden at the sides or non at all.
4. Lean towards straight cuts. Patterns with tapered or skinny legs add visual weight to the derrier.
5. For a streamlined look, pull it all together with a solid top.

LOOK CHIC IN DENIM OVERALLS
Overalls: Denim Blvd similar here & here / Shirt: J.Crew / Bag: Louis Vuitton / Shoes: Lola Shoetique Similar Pumps / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban / Bracelets: House of Harlow & Kate Spade / Ring: YSL / Earrings: Old, Similar Hoops / Nails: OPI / Lipstick: MAC
With versatile washes and fits, denim overalls no longer have to look frumpy or child-like. Here are some easy tips to look chic in this blue jean get up.
1. Wash: Make sure the color works for your skin tone. Wearing a certain rinse of denim jeans may look a lot different once the fabric is extended to your upper half.
2. Fit: This type of garment will skim your thighs, butt; hips and tummy. Make sure the fit works in all of these areas.
3. Fabric: Use the same rule as you would regularly with jeans. You want to go for a fabric that’s stiff or loose enough for your body type. I’ve opted for a not-so-stiff style that will give and allow my curves to breathe.
4: Versatility: Overalls can easily come off as painter’s or gardener’s only attire. It’s more ideal to be able to dress them up or down. Make sure yours look great with pumps, sandals, flats and even boots. More bang for your buck is always key!
5: Adjustable: A good pair of overalls is like a good bra. Make sure the straps are easily adjustable. This will allow for the perfect fit and make them more relaxed as needed.
