In the past I’d never been a girl who wore red. Perhaps it’s because I remember it being my mother’s go-to dress up choice. Now don’t get me wrong my mother was and IS still gorgeous and fashionable. I just always equated red with being a “grown up” and we all want to be kids forever right? So how am standing before you today rocking crimson and leather?
Well a funny thing happened about two years ago. I fell in love with this MAC lipstick shade and it’s opened the door to trying that color in other areas. Exhibit A: This layered illusion tank from those sweet girls at The Mint Julep Boutique. Because it’s kind of hard to feel like a “grown up” when you’re mixing moto jackets with shorts and shoe-ties!
