Today I’m incorporating bunch of my favorite fashion factors for spring… Vibrant colors throughout, a comfortably snug fit, lady like midi lengths a slit front dress.
I’m so thankful that designers are placing cuts in this area. Now yes, I love the look of a good Angelina Jolie-esque high side cut. However, not all of us need the world seeing our ample (but oh so lovely thighs). This front situations does so well at adding a little extra umph to a fitted midi. It even upgrades a casual maxi dress as I sported here.
What do you think about this cut? Are you one of those bold women who can rock a high side slit?

I was out shopping for this moto jacket a few weeks ago. As the escalator slowly made its way up, my breath was snatched away by this little black midi dress. Its sexy yet sophisticated form clung softly to the mannequin. The splendid length and gorgeous twist details had me at hello.
My excitement began to fade when I saw that it was in the Alexander Wang section. I have a few splurge items by Wang that I’d saved for. As hot as it was, my wallet wasn’t prepared to justify this dress as a last minute purchase. Still holding my breath, I turned over the price tag. To my surprise it was from Wang’s “T” line and only cost $165! I tried it on and had one of those rare dressing room moments when you love everything about a piece and can’t bear to take it off. I did eventually end up disrobing and carrying it straight to the register!
If you see this dress slung over a hanger please don’t pass it up as another shapeless piece. Do yourself a favor and at least try it on! You’ll thank me later:)
Happy Tuesday Loves!
